This study aims to determine the performance of the pharmaceutical ingredients industry in Indonesia in terms of the level of efficiency and labor productivity using data from 2001 to 2019. The Stochastic Frontier method is used to measure the level of efficiency, while the ratio of the output value to the number of workers is used to calculate labor productivity. The statistical results show that technically the Indonesian pharmaceutical ingredients industry has not been optimally efficient with an average value of 0.998708, however, labor productivity has increased during the observation period with an average of 892.618, which means that the workforce in the pharmaceutical ingredients industry is increasing. play a role in the creation of output.
