Boarding houses are services that offer a room or place to live at a specific price and facilities with a sure payment for each period. RD Kost is a place that provides boarding room service providers with several types of rooms whose prices are adjusted to the booking period. This study found that there still difficulties in processing guest data, reservations, and transaction data that will be managed into financial statement calculation data. From the author’s observations, this can lead to errors, data loss, and repeated data input. Limited dissemination of information on room service providers offered by RD Kost. This causes users to have difficulty finding the information provided because they have to come directly to the location. The purpose of this research is to build a room reservation application at RD Kost using the waterfall method so that the quality of the resulting system will be good because it’s implementation is carried out in stages. Developing tha application using the programming language PHP, MySQL, and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Entity Relationship Diagrams as system design tools. The results of this study are in the form of a room reservation application that can process reservation data and make it easier for users to obtain information about RD Kost.
