IMPLEMENTASI HIERARCHICAL TOKEN BUCKET UNTUK KUALITAS KECEPATAN JARINGAN INTERNET DALAM MANAJEMEN BANDWIDTH PADA ROUTER MIKROTIK
The focus of this research is the Hierarchical Token Bucket, which is applied to MikroTik routers. so that every client has internet speed uneven and stable in the distribution of bandwidth. To divide the bandwidth of several client’ usage bandwidth evenly distributed to each section according to their needs, one method of distributing bandwidth so that it is evenly distributed is the Hierarchical Token Bucket. In this study the implementation of the Hierarchical Token Bucket router MikroTik used by the clients Laptop 1, Laptop 2, Smartphone 1, and Smartphone 2. Based on the results of tests that have been carried out in improving the quality of the internet client, when measuring Quality of Service (QoS), before using the method HTB in bandwidth are: Throughput of 31.58% Index (Medium), then Packet Loss of 21% Index (Poor), Delay 267.97ms Index (Good), Jitter Index 192ms (Poor). After using the HTB method in the distribution of bandwidth are: Throughput as much as 81% Index (Very Good), Packet Loss as much as 2% Index (Very Good), Delay of 146ms Index (Very Good), then Jitter of 9.45ms Index (Good).
