PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS DAN LIKUIDITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGAN STRUKTUR MODAL SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING PADA PERUSAHAAN SUB SEKTOR MAKANAN DAN MINUMAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability and liquidity on firm value. Besides that this study aims to determine the effect of profitability and liquidity on firm value through capital structure as an intervening variable in food and beverage sub sector companies listed in the IDX period 2016-2020. The study used quantitative data type by using secondary data as the data source. Multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis was used in this study as the analysis technique. Furthermore, sobel test is used to test the indirect effect of independent variable on dependent variable through the intervening variable. The result of the study showed that profitability has significant positive effect on firm value. Liquidity and capital structure has significant negative effect on firm value. Profitability has significant positive effect on capital structure. Liquidity has significant negative effect on capital structure. Capital structure is able to mediate the liquidity on firm value, but can not mediate the profitability on firm value. Keywords: Profitability, Liquidity, Capital Structure, Firm Value
