This thesis discusses the measurement of performance at the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) using a balanced scorecard apply. This thesis using qualitative data, with secondary data derived from source documents and financial statements BPS survey. Based on the results of the research that has been done,it is known that the results of measuring the performance of Statistics Indonesia by applying the Balanced Scorecard are quite good. The details of this measurement are as follows: performance of the financial perspecfive in excellent condition, performance at the customer's perspective to the good data quality an average value 86,41 , the performance of the internal business process perspective with poor data quality an average value of 54,01, and the performance on learning and growth perspective is in good condition. Efforts need to be done to improve the performance of the organization as a step to consider is the ability to handle this part of subordinate leaders with communication patterns within the government agencies and delivery of education md growth opportunities for employees to improve prosperity md improve the performance.
