Rumah Sakit Ar-Royyan Kota Indralaya is one of the public service agencies that utilizes information and communication technology to support its activities. One form of application that supports to improve services in hospitals is the implementation of the Hospital Management Information System or commonly abbreviated as SIMRS. SIMRS is an online-based software that contains employee data, medicines, joint inventory, patients and other important assets related to hospitals. Since SIMRS was implemented until now there have been several obstacles so that SIMRS cannot be accessed for some time experienced by all hospital parties which resulted in delays in ongoing business processes at the Hospital and after SIMRS could be accessed it was checked and there were some missing data. To anticipate that similar incidents will not happen again, it is necessary to measure the maturity level of Ar-Royyan Hospital management information system security with the COBIT 5.0 for Information Security framework focusing on the EDM03 (Ensure Risk Optimization), APO12 (Manage Risk), AP013 (Manage Security), BAI06 (Manage Changes), and DSS05 (Manage Security Services). Of the five Process domains measured, overall the current maturity level is 2.0 and the expected maturity level is 4.4. Because there is no process that is able to reach the expected maturity level, recommendations for improvement are given so that they can be used as reference material for system improvements in the future
