Occlusion plays an important role in the balanced of Stomatognathic System. A change of occlusion (malocclusion) can caused disorder or dysfimction of temporomandibular joint (TMD). The pressence of clicfcing sound during mouth opening or closing were some of the signs. Clicking often happened painless that ’s why people were less aware of temporomandibular disorder. The purpose of this study was to determine a relationship between malocclusion and clicking of temporomandibular joint among student of Dentistry Study Program - Faculty of Medicine - Sriwijaya University. Cross sectional methode was used in this study. Samples were 72 study models samples taken from Dentistry Study Program - Faculty of Medicine - Sriwijaya University student class 2005-20J 0 with malocclusion. Models were identifled with HMAI indeks and each sample underwent auscultation examination to observe the clicking sound. Chi-square analysis showed P=J,00 and P > 0,05. This result concluded null hypothesis can be accepted, that there were no significant relationship between malocclusion with clicking sound of temporomandibular joint in this study.
