The liberality of the global economic resulted in the increase of the industrial sector, one of which is the Islamic banking industry. This research aims to analyze the level of concentration and efficiency of the Islamic banking industry and wants to know the relationship of the concentration and efficiency of the Islamic banking industry. This research was conducted in Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary data with the research period that is 2011-2020. The technical analyses used in this study are Concentration Ratio (CR), Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) and Causality Granger. The results of this study show that (a) the concentration level of the Islamic banking industry is categorized as oligopoly; (b) the level of efficiency of the Islamic banking industry is categorized as high efficiency; (c) the concentration and efficiency of the Islamic banking industry have a one-way causality. This relationship is seen when concentration increases, efficiency will also increase. This relationship makes concentration and efficiency create the obstacles to entry in the Islamic banking industry.
