HUBUNGAN UMUR DAN KARAKTERISTIK HISTOPATOLOGI DENGAN SUBTIPE KARSINOMA PAYUDARA TRIPEL NEGATIF
Background. Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) is defined as a subtype that is negative for estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor and HER-2,accounts for 10-70% ofall breast cancer.TNBC have aggressive behavior, poor prognosis, unique clinicohistopathologic characteristic and molecular profiles. This study designedto identified characteristics andfactors are had relationship with TNBC subtype by using tripanels CK14, EGFR and 346E12. Methods. Our study was analytical observasional study used t o thirty nine cases of TNBC at the Anatomic Pathology Laboratory of Dr.Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital, Palembang (July 2009-July 2011 period), being stained immunohistchemically CK14t EGFR and 346E12 to distinguish the TNBC basallike and nonbasal-like subtype and analyzed the correlation with age and histopathologic characteristics. Results. TNBC most in patients 45-49 years old (33.3%), with mean 55 years old. Almost cases of TNBC (79,5%) was high grade ductal carcinoma invasive (79,5%). P r opor t ion of the basal-like TNBC subtype was founded in 41% cases of TNBC histopathologic characteristics including tumor size, nuclear pleomorphism, mitosis score, tubule formation score, histologic grade, DCIS component, lymphovascular invasion, lymph node status, margin, and necrosis area with TNBC subtype. There wasn’t statistical correlation (p>0,05%) between age, Conclusion. The tripanel immunohistochemical marker of CK14, EGFR and 346E12 can determine 41%> cases ofTNBC in this study to be basal-like. There wasn't statistical correlation between age and histopathologic characteristics with TNBC subtype.
