ANALISIS POLA SEBARAN SPASIAL DAN DETERMINAN KEMISKINAN DI PULAU JAWA DAN SUMATERA
This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution pattern and determinants of poverty in Java and Sumatra through quantitative analysis. This quantitative analysis uses the Arcgis and LISA approaches and panel data from 6 Java Island provinces and 10 Sumatra Island provinces during the 2011-2020 period using the fixed effect model (FEM) approach for Java Island and the random effect model (REM) for Sumatra Island. The results of the study indicate differences in the pattern of distribution of poverty in Java, which form clusters, while in Sumatra, which form random, this is related to geographical conditions and different government systems. The results of research related to the determinants that affect poverty on the island of Java show that the variables of economic growth, open unemployment, the human development index have a negative and significant effect, while the determinants that affect poverty on the island of Sumatra show that the variable of economic growth has a negative and insignificant effect, the variable of open unemployment has a positive and not positive effect. significant, and the human development index variable has a negative and significant effect
