The objective of this research was to design, to construct and to test Jatropa Nut Oil seed pressing device by using pneumatic power. This research was conducted at CV. Sinar Surya Palembang in April 2009 until February 2010. This research used engineering design that consisted of designing, constructing, and testing the equipment. Observed parameters were equipment capacity, equipment efficiency, power required by pneumatic (pressing device) to press the Jatropa Nut Oil, and throughput. Results showed that effective capacity of equipment was 52.181 kg.h'1 with efficiency of 71.522 %, average capacity of 73.015 kg.h'1, average throughput of 17.567 %, and power required was 52.531 J.s'1
