STRATEGI HARGA DAN TINGKAT KEUNTUNGAN PADA KOMODITAS PINDANG PATIN
This study aims to identify and analyze the price strategy used by the owner of the pindang restaurant in determining the price of the pindang patin commodity and also analyze the effect of the price strategy on the level of profit they get. The source of data that was used in this research is a primary data that was obtained by conducting direct interviews with the owners of the pindang restaurant that sells the pindang patin commodity. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data. The research sample used is 30 restaurants that make pindang as their main menu, selling pindang patin and are located in the city of Palembang. The results of this study indicate that the price strategy that is generally used by the owner of the pindang restaurant is to add the desired amount of profit above the costs incurred or the markup price strategy. The average markup carried out by the 30 samples of this study was 68.63 percent of the production costs. In addition, the results of the regression analysis between the selling price and the level of profit obtained indicate that the price affects the level of profit positively, which means that if the price of pindang patin increases, the level of profit obtained will also increase.
