DETERMINAN PENAWARAN TENAGA KERJA DI PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
This study aims to determine the effect of education level and per capita expenditure on labor supply in South Sumatra Province. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency in the period 2014-2020 in 17 districts/cities in the province of South Sumatra. The analysis technique used is Panel Data Regression. The results of this study indicate that together the level of education and per capita expenditure have a significant effect on the supply of labor. Partially the level of education and per capita expenditure showed a positive and significant effect on the supply of labor. Meanwhile, based on the coefficient value, it shows that the coefficient between the education level variables is the dominant factor in the supply of labor, from each Regency/City it is known that the highest number of labor supply in the city of Palembang because the city of Palembang is the center or center of business and economic activity in the South Sumatra province.
