This study aims to know the effect of the Open Ended Problem model on the learning outcomes of students in mathematic learning in class IV SD Negeri 243 Palembang. The method used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design with One Grup Pretest Posttest Design. The sample in this study was grade IV C students consisting of 15 male students and 13 female students. The research instrument used in this study was a written test in the form of 10 essay. From the results of data analysis, the average pretest value was 46,21 and the average posttest value was 75,07. Based on the hypothesis test obtained tcount = 15,03, while from the distribution table t for n = 28 obtained ttable = 2,052 with a significant level of 0.05 (5%). Because tcount > ttable, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the Open Ended Problem model influence the learning outcomes of students in grade IV Palembang 243 Elementary School on the mathematics.
