This study aims to identify parents' perceptions of the importance of early childhood sex education in Keman Baru Ogan Komering Ilir Village. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The sample of this study was parents who had children aged (4-6) years in Keman Baru Ogan Komering Ilir Village, which amounted to 30 parents with purposive sample techniques. The data collection technique was carried out by means of direct interviews, dissemination of questionnaires to parents in Keman Baru Ogan Komering Ilir Village and documentation. The results of the study stated that the importance of parents' knowledge about early childhood sex education was in the high category with a percentage of 77.36%. Then the importance of parents' understanding of early childhood sex education in the high category with a percentage of 76.35%. Furthermore, it is important for parents to apply / awareness about early childhood sex education in the high category with a percentage of 75.76%. Based on the results of the overall study, it can be seen that parents' perceptions of the importance of early childhood sex education are 76.49%, which is classified as a high category.
