According to study at United States amongst children 6-11 years old and adult 12-17 years old by USPHS (UnitedStates Public Health Service) on 1963, the prevalence of malocclusion is more higher at adults than children. The aim of this study was to assess prevalence of malocclusion amongst adults 12-17 years old at Panti Asuhan Al-Yamin Palembang. This research used “crossectional” design and purposive sampling. There were 30 samples in this study. HMAI index was used to examine the degree of malocclusion. The results were 96,67% sample have malocclusion. The most commonly occurring feature was crowding (96,7 %). It could be describe that majority ofpopulation have malocclusion.
