This study aims to determine the diversity of garden ornamental plants in Lian Mas District, Muara Enim Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive with purposive sampling technique and consideration of the area of the yard owned by the community by planting ornamental plants. The results of this study are the diversity of ornamental plant species in the Ujan Mas District as many as 113 types of ornamental plants belonging to 29 nations and 46 tribes. The most common types of ornamental plants found are the Araceae tribe. The nation with the most number of tribes found is the Caryophyllales. There were 40 types of ornamental plants in the narrow yard category, 97 species in the medium yard category, 75 species in the wide yard category. The diversity index obtained is in the range of 2-3 which is categorized as moderate in the three yard categories. Based on these results, the many types of ornamental plants found in Ujan Mas District indicate that many residents have used their home gardens by planting various types of plants, especially ornamental plants.
