Abstract Literacy is one of the factors that hinders the ability or quality of human resources. This study aims to provide basic learning knowledge to people who still do not have the ability to read, write and count as an eradication of illiteracy,reducing disability and ignorance caused by illiteracy. Is one source of poverty. This research was conducted in the village of pipa lingkungan V, north indralaya utara, ogan ilir . most of the people have jobs as farmers and rubber tappers. In addition,people who do not have the money to take education will not continue their education, so this adds to the community’s inability in basic learning. The age of participants who take part in this activity are adults, namely 30-40 years. The activity is divided into three stages,namely reading,writing and arithmetic. Keywords: illiteracy eradication, reading, writing and arithmetic
