These changes were responded to with various perceptions. especially in English lessons. The purpose of the study was to determine students' perceptions of using google classroom in the teaching and learning process of English. The research subjects, are eleventh-grade students of Mechatronics at SMK N 3 Sekayu. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The number of respondents was determined based on the number of returned questionnaires (convenience sampling method). Interviews were conducted with 10 informants. The selection of informants used purposive sampling. The results showed that the perception of using google classroom in the English teaching and learning process was categorized as high. from student statements, google classroom can be accessed anytime without a time limit, allows students to complete assignments on time, and makes it easier to obtain information, and materials, and collect assignments. The implementation of the English teaching and learning process using Google Classroom can be carried out well. In interview results, students assume that the use of Google Classroom in the teaching and learning process of English is often faced with unstable internet signals, and the subject matter is difficult to understand. explanations or answers can only be submitted in the comments column, students are required to study independently, and students think that it is not suitable if they only use google classroom in learning English. as a result, students are often late in collecting assignments even though the teacher gives time to slack. on the other hand, most students do not have their study schedule at home, meaning that students study unplanned and students are not ready to be able to study independently.
