HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DENGAN PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK KELAS XI DI MAN 1 BANYUASIN.
This study aims to analyze the relationship between learning motivation and academic procrastination of class XI students at MAN 1 Banyuasin. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational design. The number of population determined in this study was 250 students and a sample of 154 students using a random sampling technique. The research instruments used were the learning motivation scale and the academic procrastination scale which were distributed directly. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment formula in the SPSS application version 24. The results of the analysis obtained by the majority of students experiencing learning motivation were in the medium category, namely 64 students, while academic procrastination was in the medium category, namely 66 students, and the correlation coefficient was rxy = 0.613 where rcount = 0.613 > rtable = 0.145 so that the research hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a positive relationship between learning motivation and academic procrastination of class XI students at MAN 1 Banyuasin, which means that the higher the learning motivation, the lower the academic procrastination. Vice versa if the lower the motivation to learn, the higher the academic procrastination.
