PENERAPAN METODE MULTI FACTOR EVALUATION PROCESS (MFEP) PADA DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM UNTUK PEMILIHAN APLIKASI LANGGANAN BUKU DIGITAL TERBAIK
Books are one of the most common sources of knowledge, people usually borrow books from the library or buy them at bookstores. In the era of technology, digital books are also gaining popularity for book readers. There are various digital book subscription applications, each with their own advantages, such as an easy payment method or a complete book collection. Therefore, a system was created that can determine the best digital book subscription application. Multifactor Evaluation Process (MFEP) is a quantitative method in a decision support system that uses a weighting system. MFEP determines that the alternative with the highest score is the best solution based on the selected criteria. Five criteria are used for decision making, namely subscription type, payment method, book collection, application features and promos. The result of alternative rankings generated by the system in order from the best are Google Play Books, Amazon Kindle, Scribd, Gramedia Digital and Kobo Books. From the results of the ranking, questionnaire were distributed and obtained 61 respondents with the majority agreeing to the ranking by the system. The accuracy of each alternative is calculated with the equation of the total correct data in the questionnaire divided by the number of respondent and then multiplied by 100%. Then, accuracy of each alternative is added up and the average is taken so that the results of test accuracy are 63.61%.
