admission of new students (PPDB) is a system designed to perform automatic selection starting from registration, selection process to selection announcement process. This online PPDB system is expected to be able to meet student expectations regarding the implementation of objective, transparent and accountable new student admissions. So the researcher provides a solution to this problem. This research uses theframework CodeIgniter with themethod waterfall. The website that was built aims to produce a system that can make it easier for students to register. The method used to collect data is to make observations by coming to SMA Negeri 1, interviewing field supervisors, and studying literature to support problem solving. The test results that the author obtained using blackbox testing are software scenarios that are in accordance with what is expected. Based on these results, the PPDB SMA Negeri 1 website that has been built is feasible to use to convey information easily and quickly, and can make it easier for school admins to manage the website.
