STRATEGI GURU DALAM PEMBINAAN KEMANDIRIAN ANAK DIDIK PERMASYARAKATAN DI SEKOLAH FILIAL LEMBAGA PEMBINAAN KHUSUS ANAK KELAS I LAPAS PAKJO PALEMBANG
This study aims to analyze the teacher's strategy in fostering the independence of correctional students in the filial school of the Special Children's Development Institute for Class I Palembang to develop the independent character of the students in the filial school. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive exposure techniques of findings. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation with data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the teacher's strategy in fostering the independence of correctional students at the Filial School of the Special Guidance for Class I Children in Paembang, namely: (1) The strategy used by the teacher in fostering the independence of students is the Social Action Strategy, which consists of motivation, awareness raising, self management, mobilization of development resources and network development. The implementation of independence development is held 3 times in 1 year and is carried out from 09.00- 12.00 WIB at the Filial School. The training programs held are: (1) Screen Printing Training, (2) Songket Weaving Training, (3) AC Training, (4) Electrical Installation Training and (5) Hadro Training. After participating in this activity, correctional students will have the goals they hope to achieve after being released and more importantly, in fostering correctional students, they have a diploma that can be used to get a decent job.
