Research and development of learning media for writing fantasy stories using flash flipbooks for class VII students of SMP Negeri 43 Palembang aims to determine the feasibility of flash flipbook media in learning to write fantasy stories for students. The research method used is the development method formulated by Alessi and Trollip whose steps consist of: Planning, Design, and Development. The research instrument used in this study was to conduct initial interviews with teachers who teach and distribute questionnaires to class VII students of SMP Negeri 43 Palembang by involving 25 students. Based on the results of expert validation, the material aspect got a score of 32 with an average score of 4.0 out of a maximum score of 40, the media presentation aspect got a score of 33 with an average score of 4.1 out of a maximum score of 40, and the validation of the linguistic aspect got a score of 33 with an average of 4.7 out of a maximum score of 35. Based on the results of the research that has been done, overall the learning media for writing fantasy stories with flash flipbooks is included in the valid category or suitable for use by teachers and students.
