This research is entitled "The Role of Kiai Muara Ogan Mosque to the Life of Kertapati Palembang Urban Village in 2015-2020". This research was conducted with the aim of informing and explaining the role of the Kiai Muara Ogan Mosque on social and economic life, education and Islamic culture in Kertapati Village. The methodology used in this study is a historical research method with the process of collecting data through literature studies and in-depth interviews with several mosque administrators, local community leaders and various related parties. While the approach used is a sociological, economic and religious approach. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained information that the Kiai Muara Ogan Mosque was not only focused on worship activities but also carried out its functions and roles for the congregation and the community. In the period from 2015 to 2020 the role of mosques in the social and economic fields, namely compensation to orphans, the poor and the needy; blood donation activities; distribution sacrificial meat; build a stopover for travelers; and religious tourism. Then the role of the mosque in the field of education is to hold regular recitations; the existence of a formal school; and building a library and the role of mosques in Islamic culture is to commemorate major Islamic holidays and carry out tabligh akbar.
