PENGARUH MODEL BRAIN WRITING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS PERSUASI SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 16 PALEMBANG
The aim of this research is to know the influence of model brain writing to the competence of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 16 Palembang in writing persuasive text. The method used in this research is quasi experimental. The sample is devided in two classes. Technique for colleting data used by researcher is temporary writing text and for data processing, the researher used independent sample test and t test that applied SPSS 25 programe. Considering the pandemic situation, google meet and whatsapp aplication is seems to be the choice of the researcher in teaching and learning process. The results of the study between the experimental class and control class shows significant differences. The final test for experimental class is 85,97 and for control class is 77,72. The result of independent sampe test shows the score of sig.(2-tailed) is 0,000 < 0,05 which means Ho is refused and Ha is accepted. The result of t test shows tcount= 5,706 > t table= 1,999 which means that Ho is refused and Ha is accepted. Based on the result of hypothesis concerning to sig.(2-tailed) score and t test, it can be concluded that the influence of model brain writing to the competence of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 16 Palembang in writing persuasive text shwos significant achievement.
