his study is to describe the use of two regional languages in communicating with children aged (3-6)yearsinSukaMulyaOganIlirVillage.Theproblemofthisresearchistheinabilityofchildrentoapply the use of two regional languages in communicating with this child using a language that isunderstood by the child and his mother, the child also cannot distinguish the language he uses. Thisstudy aims to determine what factors are behind the inability of children to accept two regionallanguagesincommunicating.Theresearchsubjectsconsistedof2people,namelyR(3years)andP(4 years). This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The resource personsin this study were the parents of the research subjects. Data collection techniques using observationtechniques, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, reduction,display,verification.Theresultsofthisstudyindicateseveralfactorsbehindbeingunableandunableto distinguish two regional languages in communicating with children, namely the inconsistency ofparentsinapplyingtheuseoftworegionallanguagesincommunicating,environmentalfactors,lackofcommunicationandinteractionstimulation,imitatedmodels,lowparentaleducation,lackoftimeto communicate and interact with children, children are confused in distinguishing two regionallanguages, the influence of gadgets, lack of vocabulary and pronunciation given to children. andthen thelackofmotivationfromthechild'sparentstocommunicate usingtworegionallanguages.
