PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MENGGUNAKAN ISPRING SUITE PADA PEMBELAJARAN MEMAHAMI TEKS BERITA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 30 PALEMBANG.
This research was aimed to (1) determine the teachers and students need of the learning media using the Ispring Suite in the lesson of understanding news text for VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 30 Palembang, (2) create an initial design of learning media using Ispring Suite in the lesson of understanding news text for VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 30 Palembang, (3) produce expert validation results on learning media using Ispring Suite in the lesson of understanding news text for VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 30 Palembang by experts. The research and development method used in this research was the theory of Alessi and Trollip (2001). The data collection techniques employed include interviews, questionnaires, and expert validation sheets. The interviews and questionnaires were addressed to students and teachers to find out the needs related to media. Then, the validation was carried out by three experts who assessed three aspects, including aspects of media feasibility, material or content, and language. The results of data analysis regarding needs has proven that learning media using Ispring Suite in the lesson of understanding news text is needed by the students and teachers of VIII grade in SMP Negeri 30 Palembang. Based on the validation results, it was found that the media feasibility aspect got a score of 54 with a percentage of 90%, the aspect of the feasibility of the material or content got a value of 38 with a percentage of 95%, and the language feasibility aspect got a score of 17 with a percentage of 85%. According to that, it can be concluded that learning media using Ispring Suite in the lesson of understanding news text for VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 30 Palembang is classified as very valid and very feasible to use.
