This study aims to: (1) describe the results of the needs analysis of students and teachers of class X SMA Negeri 18 Palembang on learning media in LKPD based multimedia for writing negotiation texts, (2) describe the design of LKPD based multimedia for writing negotiating texts for students. students of class X SMA Negeri 18 Palembang, (3) describing the results of expert validation of LKPD based multimedia for writing negotiating texts for students of class X SMA Negeri 18 Palembang, and 4) describe the design revision based on the results of expert validation of LKPD based multimedia for writing negotiating texts for students of class X SMA Negeri 18 Palembang. The research method used is research and development using development steps from Sugiyono (2017). Research instruments, namely interviews, questionnaires, and validation test sheets. This multimedia-based worksheet for writing negotiating texts was developed from the results of the analysis of the needs of students and teachers. Expert validation is seen from three aspects, namely media aspects, linguistic aspects, and content/material aspects. Each aspect was assessed by an expert validator, namely a lecturer in Indonesian Language and Literature Education at Sriwijaya University. The results of the validation test from the material experts got a score of 23 with a percentage of 95.83% or categorized as very feasible, the validation test results from linguists got a score of 13 with a percentage of 81.25% or categorized as very feasible, and the validation test results from media experts got a score of 20 with a percentage score of 83.33% or categorized as very feasible. Based on the results of expert validation, the multimedia-based electronic worksheets developed by researchers can be categorized as very feasible for students to write negotiating texts.
