This study aims to describe the form of violation of the principle of politeness in the film My Stupid Boss 2 and its implications in learning Indonesian. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, a pragmatic approach, a free-involvement-free listening collection technique and a note-taking technique, and a content analysis technique. The data source of this research is the film My Stupid Boss 2. The data source of this research is the film My Stupid Boss 2. The results show that there are 6 forms of violation of the principle of politeness in language in My Stupid Boss 2 which consists of 62 speech data, namely 17 speech data of violation of the maxim of wisdom, 12 speech data of violation of the maxim of generosity, 14 speech data the violation of the maxim of praise, 7 data on the violation of the maxim of simplicity, 6 data on the violation of the maxim of consensus, and 6 data on the violation of the maxim of sympathy. The results of this study can be implied in learning Indonesian at the SMA level of class XI, namely in Basic Competence 3.8 which contains "Identifying the values of life in the short stories read".
