This study aims to describe the analysis of cognitive domain tests based on the student book theme 7 "Events in Life" published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in the fifth grade of Elementary Schools (SD). This study uses a type of qualitative descriptive method. The time of this research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2021 academic year according to the educational calendar. The population used in the study consisted of all the tests contained in the fifth grade elementary school (SD) student book. The source of this research data is in the form of tests/questions contained in the fifth grade elementary school (SD) student book published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, theme 7 “Events in Life” which consist of 3 Sub-themes, namely, National Events of the Colonial Period, National Events Around the Proclamation of Independence, and Events Filling Independence. The cognitive domain has 6 categories, namely: Remembering, Understanding, Applying, Analyzing, Evaluating, Creating. Keywords: Analysis, Test, Cognitive Domain, Student Book, Theme 7 "Events in Life".
