PERBANDINGAN TINGKAT KEPUASAN PENGGUNAAN GIGI TIRUAN SEBAGIAN CEKAT DAN LEPASAN PADA KASUS KENNEDY KLAS III DI PALEMBANG
The treatment for Kennedy Classification III is fixed partial denture (FPD) or removable partial denture (RPD). One of success indicator on prosthetic treatment is patient ’s satisfaction. One of instrument to assess patient ’s satisfaction on wearing denture is Geriatric Oral Health Assesment Index (GOHAI). The aim of this study was to identify the difference of patient ’s satisfaction on FPD and RP D wearers in Kennedy Classification III case. The sample used in this study were 15 FPD patients and 15 RP D patients. In this study, there were 100% patients are very satisfied with their FPD and 86,67% patients are very satisfied with their RP D. The data were analyzed by Mann-Whitney U test. The result of Mann-Whitney U test is p> 0,05. It can be concluded that there was significant difference of patient’s satisfaction level between wearing FPD and RP D in Kennedy Classification III case.
