Rosella contains flavonoid, there are gossypetin and anlhocyanins. Flavonoids polyphenolic that have the ability to denaturatedprotein and also afat solvent.The purpose of this study to assurne that xylitol antibacteria effects o n Streptococcus mutans. The method of this research is laboralory experimenlal. This research uses Streptococcus mutans c serotipe as the sample, it is divided into seven group which contains aquades and ampicilin as the control and extract metanol of Rosella 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, and 70% as the treatmenl group.
