The development of science and the variety of methods in the family of science have led to an increase in the number and variety of journals that exist today. This problem makes it difficult to find journals that match their preferences, especially for final year students who need journals as their reference to help their research. To overcome this problem, a recommendation system is needed to make it easier for students to find journals that suit their preferences. This study applies a content-based filtering method to compare the features or content of the item that will be used as a benchmark to provide recommendations with other items. This study uses keywords as a feature that will be used to recommend an item to users. This study uses precision and recall values to measure the performance of the system. Based on the tests that have been carried out on 50 respondents, the precision value is 0.26 and the recall value is 0.75.
