Supplier selection is generally made based on estimates only. This is considered less effective because there is no exact calculation and explanation based on it, so it is necessary to rank suppliers according to the criteria they need to make it easier for traders to find suppliers who can accommodate their needs. The PROMETHEE and ELECTRE methods are multi-criteria decision-making methods based on the concept of outranking by using pairwise comparisons of alternatives based on each appropriate criterion. The PROMETHEE method has advantages in the alternative ranking process using different preference functions and weights. The ELECTRE method can naturally process discrete qualitative and quantitative criteria and provides a complete sample order. This study resulted in an accuracy rate of 80% PROMETHEE method and 70% ELECTRE method. PROMETHEE and ELECTRE methods both use the concept of outranking by comparing alternative pairs. However, PROMETHEE uses a different type of preference for each different type of data so that it is better in ranking.
