KOMPARASI METODE MOORA DAN WASPAS DALAM REKOMENDASI PENETAPAN PROGRAM MIPA DAN IPS PADA SISWA SMA SEKOLAH PENGGERAK

In the 2021/2022 school year, there will be a new policy development, namely the Motivating School Program. The Motivating School Program that was adopted underwent a curriculum change, by positioning class X to be in a regular class that had not yet chose program. Determining n a major the specialization program (department) requires accuracy so as not to end up regretting it because there are discrepancies among students. The selection of a specialization program involves many considerations of criteria su ch as student interest, academic achievement, and support from students' parents. The MOORA method has a good level of selectivity, because it can determine conflicting goals and criteria, namely criteria that are profitable (benefit) or unfavorable (cost) . While the WASPAS method offers effectiveness for making decisions on complex problems through simplification of the decision making process by solving problems into parts and arranging these parts in a hierarchical arrangement and assigning numerical val ues to the subjective. This study resulted in an accuracy of 97.83% on the MOORA method and 99.10% on the WASPAS method. Both methods are able to analyze decisions well, but the WASPAS method is more focused on the weighting value of each criterion so as to produce better accuracy.
