This study aims to find out how the role of parents in accompanying children to study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic (Case Study of Parents in Tanah Merah Village, Belitang District, East OKU Regency). This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, the social situation in this research is the role of parents as actors, accompanying children to study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic is the activity under study, and Tanah Merah Village, Belitang District, East OKU Regency researched place. The subjects of this study were 4 informants. This study uses four indicators, namely the role of parents as teachers at home, the role of parents as facilitators, the role of parents as motivators, and parents as influence or directors. The COVID-19 pandemic has provided an overview of the sustainability of the world of education in the future through the assistance and use of technology. Methodology This research uses a qualitative approach with a deductive method. The data in this study were obtained through documentation, interviews, and observation techniques. It can be concluded in this study that the role of parents in assisting children to study at home during the covid-19 pandemic (a case study on parents in Tanah Merah village, Belitang sub-district, East OKU district) has been going well and has played a significant role in assisting children to study at home.
