PENERAPAN STRATEGI MEMBUAT TABEL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA KELAS VII SMP
This study aims to describe students' mathematical problem solving skill after the implementation of the strategy of making tables. This research is descriptive type with 28 students of VII.3 class at SMPN 1 Mulak Ulu as the subject. Data was collected through a written test consisting of 3 problem solving questions. Then the test results were analyzed according to the four stages of Polya's problem solving. Based on the results of the study, the average mathematical problem solving skills of class VII.3 students of SMPN 1 Mulak Ulu was 58.77 which was categirized as sufficient. The highest indicator is the indicator of understanding the problem of 78.17%, the indicator of planning problem solving is 72.22%, the indicator of implementing the plan is 42.46%, and the lowest indicator is the indicator of check again 33.93%. Thus, the need to give students many opportunities to solve problem solving problems can be in the form of being given practice questions after learning.
