The research that has been carried out has the aim of determining the quality of the items for the final assessment of even semester of chemistry subjects class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu reviewed based on empirical validity,reliability, characteristics of the questions and validity of the contents. This research is a quantitative and qualitative descriptive research.The method used in data collection is documentation techniques to obtain data in the form of question items,answer keys,student answer sheets and question grids. In this study,the sample was class XI MIPA students consisting of 122 people. Quantitative analysis assisted by SPSS Version 26 application and Anates 4.0.9. The results showed that the quality of question items with excellent categories totaling 3 questions (10%) were entered into the question bank,the good quality had 13 questions(43,33%) that needed minor revisions,the moderate category had 6 questions(20%) that needed moderate revisions,questions with poor quality namely 5 questions and very bad categories there are 3 questions. For the matter of categorizing the quality is not good and very bad should be thrown away. A review table was used to conduct qualitative item analysis. The research results showed that 87,91% of items in the good category had based on features of material,construction and language as a whole.
