This study aims to determine the application of parenting styles for children aged 4-6 years in Besemah Serasan Village, Pagar Alam City. The method used by the researcher is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study were parents who have children aged 4-6 years in Besemah Serasan Village, Pagar Alam City, amounting to 15 people. Data collection techniques by filling out questionnaires and direct interviews with parents. The data analysis technique uses percentages, the results of research per indicator show that 60% or as many as 9 respondents (SR) apply authoritarian parenting, 47% or as many as 7 respondents (SR) apply permissive parenting, 87% or as many as 13 respondents (SL) apply democratic parenting. The results of the average percentage of all data that 59% parents choose authoritarian parenting, 48% parents choose permissive parenting, 81% parents choose democratic parenting. It can be concluded from the three percentage results that parents who have children aged 4-6 years in Besemah Serasan Village, Pagar Alam City, are 81% more dominant in choosing to apply this type of democratic parenting. so that the children in the Besemah Serasan Village, Pagar Alam City, have good personalities, are polite and courteous, are able to communicate well, both with peers and even older people. The results of this study are expected to be a source of information for parents about the application of good parenting styles for children aged 4-6 years.
