This research is included in the type of literary research. The research was conducted using qualitative research methods and qualitative approaches. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive technique. The purpose of this research is to produce a description of the new male image and its implications for learning Indonesian. The research was carried out using Rowena Chapman's theory of masculinity. Masculinity contained in Chapman's theory has three types, namely; 1) The Macho and the Sissy, 2) The Narcissist and the Merciful, 3) The Rebel Man. The novel used in this study, Crazy Riach Asians by Kevin Kwan, tells of gender problems that occur in the environment of the rich. Qualitative research methods were used to find quotes in the novel Crazy Rich Asians. The next stage of the discovery of quotations is an analysis of the quotations that have been found using Chapman's theory of masculinity. The results of this study get 70 citations. The picture of the macho and the effeminate 23 quotes, the picture of the narcissist and loving 39 quotes, the picture of the rebellious man 8 quotes. So, this novel is included in the novel that depicts the image of a new man with the most number of narcissists and loving ones with 39 quotes. From the results of the analysis conducted by the researcher, it shows that Nick's character is the image of a new man. Keywords: Qualitative, Masculinity, Novel Crazy Rich Asians
