Skin health is very important for humans, it is also becomes everyone's desire to have clean and healthy skin. But there are still many people who are wrong in doing treatment that suitsthe skin type of theirface. The purpose of this study is to help nurses when there are no expert doctors or experts in carrying out initial actions against patients. The system that will be built can help solve the problem of diagnosing skin types in the form of an expert system using the certainty factor method. The certainty factor (CF) method is a method that defines the size of the certainty of a fact or rule,to describe the level of expert confidence in the problem at hand. The resultof the study is a system that can help determine the type of facial skin in patients with 87% accuracy.
