PENGEMBANGAN SOAL HIGH ORDER THINKING SKILL (HOTS) PADA MATERI LARUTAN ELEKTROLIT DAN NON ELEKTROLIT KELAS X SMA.
This study aims to produce chemistry questions based on high order thinking skills on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials that are valid and reliable, as well as to determine the level of difficulty and distinguishing power of the questions that have been developed. The development model used in making this question is the McIntire development model. The data collection methods used are expert validation and field testing, while the data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative. This study resulted in 7 essay questions on the electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material. Based on expert validation analysis, the item was declared to be eligible for testing seen from the average validity value of 0.767 with a high validity category in terms of material, construction, and language aspects. After field testing, the 7 essay questions have an average validity value of 0.621 in the high validity category and an average reliability value of 0.700 in the moderate correlation category, and the average difficulty level is 0.535 which is in the medium category and the distinguishing power is 0.563 in the good category.
