This study aims to determine the benefits of plants as traditional medicine for the people of Lubuk Buntak Village. The method used is descriptive method. The results of the study found as many as 30 types of medicinal plants including: Curcuma longa L., Kaempferia galanga L., Zingiber officinale R., Zingiber montanum J., Acorus calamus L., Orthosiphon staminus B., Jatropha curcas L., Psidium guajava L., Syzygium aqueum B., Citrus aurantiifolia S., Piper betle L., Annona muricata L., Strobilanthes crispus B., Ceiba pentandra L., Baccaurea motleyana M., Bryophyllum calycinum Syn., Arecacatechu L., Amaranthus tricolor L., Hemigraphis alternata B., Piper crocatum Ruiz & Pav., Gracinia mangostana L., Mimosa pudica L., Persea americana Mill., Peronema cenescens J., Morinda citrifolia L., Physalisangulata L., Ageratum conyzoides L., Averrhoa bilimbi L., Ocimum basilicum L., Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L. The plant parts used for treatment are roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds. There are 24 types of diseases that can be treated, namely; Smooth defecation, Worms, Stomach pain, Nausea, Abdominal pain, Backache, Thrush, Diarrhea, Cough, Muscle aches, Eye pain, High blood pressure, Headache, Ulcer, Lump, Late menstruation (hormonal imbalance) , Burns, Difficulty sleeping, Heel pain, Malaria, Wounds, Shortness of breath, Dermatitis (red spots) and Fertility of the uterus. The processing method is boiled, chopped, burned, kneaded, sharpened, grated and soaked. The results of this research will be donated in the form of Booklets and Herbarium in Basic Competence 3.8 Biology Class 10 Curriculum 2013 which contains grouping plants into divisions based on general characteristics, and linking their roles in life.
