PERSENTASE GUGUR BUNGA DAN BUAH, HASIL SERTA ANALISIS KELAYAKAN EKONOMI TANAMAN CABAI MERAH PADA ULTISOL YANG DIAPLIKASIKAN BERBAGAI DOSIS PUPUK ANORGANIK DAN POC
This study aims to determine the best dose of POC fertilizer for reducing leaf fall, flowers, and fruits of red chili, increasing yields and providing economic benefits if cultivated on Ultisol. The research was conducted in July to December 2021 at the Experimental Field of the Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University. The Experiments in the study were designed using a randomized block design with 9 levels of treatment. Each treatment was replicated 3 times, therefore there were 27 experimental units. The treatments were consisted of P0: Control (NPK + Urea) (100% recommendation of inorganic fertilizers); P1: 12 L ha-1 POC application on soil; P2: 12 L ha-1 POC application on soil + 50% recommendation of NPK + Urea fertilizers; P3: 12 L ha-1 POC application on soil + 75% recommendation of NPK + Urea fertilizers; P4: 12 L ha-1 POC application on soil + 100% recommendation of fertilizer NPK + Urea; P5: POC application on seed with the concentration of 100 ppm (seed treatment) + 12 L ha-1 POC application on soil; P6: POC application on seed with the concentration of 100 ppm + 12 L ha-1 POC application on soil + 50% recommendation of NPK + Urea fertilizers; P7: POC application on seed with the concentration of 100 ppm + 12 L ha-1 POC application on soil + 75% recommendation of NPK + Urea fertilizers; P8: POC application on seed with the concentration of 100 ppm + 12 L ha-1 POC application on soil + 100% recommendation of NPK + Urea fertilizers. The data was analyzed using ANOVA at 5% of significance level and significant differences between treatments were tested using the LSD test. POC application combined with urea fertilizer and NPK could decrease the percentage of interest fall, unless followed by 100% fertilization of urea and NPK. The application of POC combined with 100% fertilization of urea and NPK provides the best resultsin increasing the production of red chili plants, with a production of 9.70 tons ha-1. The red chili farm provides a profit of Rp 352,247,000 per hectare with a value of R/C Ratio = 8.27 and B/C Ratio = 7.27, which indicates that the farm is feasible to develop.
