This study aims to describe the intrinsic elements of fiction stories contained in students book of class IV Elementary School with The Region Of My Residance Themes. The type of research used is descriptive research with qualitative methods. The data collection technique used is documentation. The data in this study are 6 intrinsic elements, namely: theme, character, plot, setting, point of view, mandate. The source of data in this study is a fictional story contained in the books of class IV Elementary School with The Region Of My Residance Themes. The results of this study are fiction stories that there are 17 intrinsic elements of the fictional story contained in the The Region Of My Residance Themes, with a percentage 89,4% with very good information. The intrinsic elements of the fiction include the major theme, minor theme, protagonist, antagonist, tirtagonist, progressive plot, mixed plot, place setting, time setting, socio-cultural setting, third person all knowing point of view, limited third person point of view, objective point of view, the mandate of human relations with oneself, the mandate of human relations with others, the mandate of human relations with the environment, and the mandate of human relations with God. While the intrinsic elements of fiction stories that are not contained in The Region Of My Residance Theme are as many as 2 intrinsic elements. The intrinsic elements of the fiction story include the back and forth plot, and the first person point of view. For intrinsic elements that do not appear, the teacher can convey the intrinsic elements of fiction stories that have not yet appeared to students by presenting fiction stories from various sources to students.
