Pulau Kemaro is a natural tourist spot located in Palembang city, I Ilir Village, Ilir Timur II sub-district, Palembang City, South Sumatra. The implementation of community-based ecotourism programs is supported by various parties that can provide social, economic and environmental benefits for the local communities of Pulau Kemaro. The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the form of an ecotourism program carried out through community empowerment activities carried out in Pulau Kemaro, Palembang City. (2) To measure social, economic and environmental benefits for local communities by implementing community empowerment activities through the Pulau Kemaro ecotourism program. (3) To measure the success rate of community based empowerment through Pulau Kemaro ecotourism program. (4) To analyze the correlation between program benefits and the success are the ecotourism program on Pulau Kemaro, Palembang City. The location determination was carried out intentionally and the data collection in this study was carried out in February 2022. The data collected were primary and secondary data. The research method used are a survey method. The results of the research carried out can be concluded (1) Support from various parties in the form of program assistance to develop a community-based Pulau Kemaro ecotourism program provides benefits in the social, economic and environmental fields. The assistance provided started with infrastructure, economic boosters, facilities, and infrastructure until groups formed from the community's own initiatives. (2) The social benefits of the program are in the high criteria, the economic benefits are in the high criteria and the environmental benefits are in the medium criteria and overall the benefits of the Pulau Kemaro ecotourism program are in the high criteria. (3) The success rate of community empowerment for the Pulau Kemaro ecotourism program as seen from the indicators of participation, critical awareness, increasing income, sustainability and independence is in high criteria. (4) There is a strong relationship between program benefits and the success rate of the Pulau Kemaro ecotourism program in Palembang City.
