HUBUNGAN ACADEMIC BURNOUT DENGAN PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK SISWA KELAS XI DI MAN 1 BANYUASIN
Academic burnout is a condition that is often experienced by students in the learning process at school and can cause academic procrastination behavior. This study aims to analyze the relationship between academic burnout and academic procrastination of class XI students at MAN 1 Banyuasin. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational design. The number of population determined in this study was 246 students and a sample of 152 students using random sampling technique. The research instrument used was the academic burnout scale and the academic procrastination scale which were distributed through the google from media. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment formula in the SPSS 16 application. The results of the analysis showed that most of the students experiencing academic burnout were in the moderate category with a percentage (40.1%) while academic procrastination was in the moderate category with a percentage (42.7%). ) then obtained a correlation coefficient of r_xy= 0.240, which means that there is a positive relationship between academic burnout and academic procrastination of class XI MAN 1 Banyuasin students where the higher the academic burnout, the higher the academic procrastination behavior. Based on these results, it is expected to provide an overview to teachers and related parties to be able to pay more attention to student learning saturation by providing learning that interests and motivates students.
