The purpose of this reseach to learn more about the correlation between legal culture and legal awareness in the Srimulya Village Palembang to reporting theft offences. This study took a quantitative approach with associative research approaches. The sampling technique was performed by applying the Arikunto theory and was fitted with a nonprobability sampling technique purposive sampling type, with as many as 29 respondents sampled in this study from a population of 114 people.Then there are data collection process techniques such as documentation, surveys, and interviews. Furthermore, researchers use SPSS and Microsoft Exel software for data processing, although descriptive statistics are used for data analysis. And according to research results of the Correlation Product Moment test, there was a positive and significant correlation between public legal awareness and legal culture in reporting theft crimes, as represented by rcount > rtabel values of 0.684>3.67 with a significant value of 0.015
