KEKERASAN TERHADAP PEREMPUAN DALAM NOVEL SANG MAHARANI KARYA AGNES JESSICA: KAJIAN KRITIK SASTRA FEMINIS DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA DAN SASTRA INDONESIA DI SMA
This study aims to describe the forms of violence against women in the novel Sang Maharani by Agnes Jessica and to describe the implications of the results of this research on violence against women in the novel Sang Maharani by Agnes Jessica in learning Indonesian literature in schools. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method using feminist literary criticism studies. First, there are four forms of physical violence, namely slapping, hitting, dragging, and throwing objects. Second, there are two forms of psychological violence, namely humiliation and ostracism. Thirdly, there are three forms of sexual violence, namely rape, direct harassment, and indirect harassment. The data source is obtained from the novel Sang Maharani written by Agnes Jessica. The technique used in data collection is literature study. The results of this study are the types of violence against women found in the novel Sang Maharani by Agnes Jessica in the form of physical, psychological, and sexual violence. Then this research has implications for learning Indonesian with Basic Competence 2.9 for class XII. Therefore, this research can be used as a reference for the next similar research and can be used by teachers in learning Indonesian, especially in Basic Competence 2.9 class XII.
